In the poem Where the Mind is without Fear in one place the great poet writes,

'Where the world has not been broken up into fragments
By narrow domestic walls'

and in the end concludes with a contradictory wish

'Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake.'
Sort of thinking along the lines of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, but believing in the heart Janani Janma-bhoomi-scha Swargadapi Gariyasi. Isn't it?
As far as I am concerned I was a proud Indian till I went to New Delhi. There I became a die-hard South Indian.
