The problem with shared memories

is that it is pregnant with the seeds of disappointment. Shared memories when recalled and expressed at a later date can upset the confidence and composure of the persons who would have exalted at the experience. The realization that they felt, saw and remembered different aspects of the same experience can make shared memory a mere farce, pretence, a make-believe act for self-preservation.
